Burnsall Fell Race is a established fixture in the local fell running calendar, counting towards the BOFRA Championship series. Held in Wharfedale on 6 September 2026, this 1.5 mile trail race features 800 feet of climbing and takes in some classic Pennine terrain: a steady climb through fields, a short steep section through heather to a cairn, then a ridge run to a trig point before a direct descent back to the village.
