About Burnsall Half Marathon & 12K
Burnsall is a 12 km trail race taking place on 17 April 2027 in the North Yorkshire village, as part of the Due North Trail series. The route follows the opening section of the half marathon course, with a diversion via Appletreewick before returning runners to the finish at Burnsall's Riverside Car Park field.
The course is waymarked with drinks stations providing water and juice along the way. Runners should bring a waterproof jacket, hat, gloves, a cup or bottle, and a mobile phone with a location app. The minimum age for entry is 17. Post-race, participants can enjoy a meal including pie and soup, collect Due North merchandise and sponsor goodies, and take advantage of free parking at the race field. Registration takes place in a tent at the car park, with toilet facilities available.
