About Burton 10K
Taking place on 9 August 2026, the Burton 10K is a road race across East Staffordshire. The course is structured to front-load its climbing, with all the uphills concentrated in the first 3 miles. This means runners can settle into a rhythm for the second half, taking advantage of downhill running towards the finish.
The final 400 metres of the race is completed on the Athletics Track at Shobnall, where participants cross the line before refreshments await.
