About Bury 10K
A road course through Bury town centre and into the surrounding countryside forms the basis of this multi-distance running day. The 10K route travels along Tottington Road and Bury Road before reaching the Kirklees Trail, looping back to finish near The Rock in Bury's heart. Shorter distances of 2.5 km and 1.5 km cater to younger participants, with the Mini and Junior runs taking place on the same day as the main event on 20 September 2026.
Jane Tomlinson's Run For All brings the event to Bury in partnership with Bury Council and Bury BID. Children aged three and upwards can take part, making it genuinely family-focused. All finishers receive a goody bag and medal, with official timing now included for the junior distances, so young runners can have their efforts properly recorded.
