About Cabbage Patch 10
The Cabbage Patch 10 takes runners on a fast, flat circuit through southwest London, starting in central Twickenham and crossing the Thames via Kingston and Richmond bridges before finishing at York House. The 10-mile route follows mostly roads and paved footpaths, including stretches along the Richmond River path.
The course has genuine pedigree in British running. Richard Nerurkar set an all-time British 10-mile record here in 1993 with a time of 46 minutes and two seconds, a mark that stood for three decades until Emile Cairess broke it in March 2023. Cairess had previously won the Cabbage Patch 10 itself in 2018. The event takes place on 18 October 2026.
