About Cambus Quarter
The Cambus Quarter takes runners through Clackmannanshire on a mixed terrain course that combines riverside trails, tarmac paths and quiet roads. Starting and finishing in Cambus village, the 5 km route passes the River Forth, Cambus Pools Nature Reserve and local landmarks, offering variety for those seeking more than a straightforward road race.
Organised by Wee County Harriers under UK Athletics and Scottish Athletics rules, the event runs on 16 August 2026. The course is marshalled at road crossings, with a water station at the midway point and first aid cover in place. Finishers receive a race souvenir, and prizes are awarded in the main male and female categories, with post-race refreshments provided at Cambus Bowling Club.
