About Cape to Glen
This 214-mile continuous run takes in the Cape Wrath Trail, one of Scotland's most remote long-distance routes. Starting at Keodale between 23 and 29 May 2027, runners head north to Cape Wrath lighthouse via ferry crossing before turning south through mountain terrain toward Glenfinnan, finishing beneath the iconic viaduct.
The route demands self-sufficiency across some of the Highlands' wildest landscape. Aid stations are positioned along the trail, though the remote nature of the terrain means runners must be prepared for mountain conditions and sustained effort over the week-long event. This is a challenge suited to those with experience of fell running and navigation in exposed, mountainous country.
