A 7.2 mile fell race in the Ceiriog valley, the Carlam Ceiriog Canter follows upland moorland and hill tracks with approximately 425 metres of ascent. Taking place on 26 September 2026, this BM-category race is based at Canolfan Ceiriog Centre in Glyn Ceiriog and uses map navigation, with a map provided to runners.
Competitors should be prepared for fell running conditions and carry kit as recommended by the WFRA, including windproof and weather-appropriate clothing, map, compass and whistle. The centre offers post-race facilities including showers, changing rooms and refreshments including soup and homemade cakes.
