About Castle2Castle #Ultra
The Castle2Castle Ultra draws runners ready for a substantial 32-mile challenge across the Welsh borders. Starting from Powis Estate in Welshpool on 13 March 2027, the route follows a combination of flat, fast paths and undulating public footpaths en route to the finish at Caffi Wylfa in Chirk, taking in varied views across the terrain.
Support stations are positioned at around the 11-mile and 21-mile marks with water and food. Finishers receive a plate and additional goodies at the finish. The event welcomes runners aged 20 and over, with a shuttle service available from Chirk back to the start area and parking information provided for Welshpool. Prizes go to the top three male and female finishers.
