About Cawston Trail Race
A 5-mile trail race through the forest paths of Cawston Park, this event takes runners entirely off-road across the Norfolk estate. Organised by Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue, the course will be marshalled and signposted, with chip timing provided and water stations at the halfway point and finish.
Proceeds from the race support the team's search and rescue work for vulnerable missing people across Norfolk. Runners must be at least 15 years old. The event takes place on 4 October 2026 at Cawston Park, with on-site parking available. Facilities include toilets at race HQ and refreshments for sale, though there are no changing rooms or baggage storage. Race numbers are issued on the day and all finishers receive a memento, with prizes awarded to the top three male and female runners.
