About CBTE Blencathra Marathon
The CBTE Blencathra Marathon is a 26.4 mile fell race taking place on 5 September 2027, starting and finishing in Caldbeck. This trail event covers nearly 6000 feet of elevation, making it a substantial challenge for experienced fell and trail runners and fell walkers alike.
The circular route visits five Wainwright summits: Bowscale, Blencathra, Mungrisdale Common, Knott and High Pike. Runners have until 9 pm to complete the course. Registration opens at 7.15 am with the race starting at 9.00 am.
