About CBTE Morland Half Marathon
Taking place on 16 August 2026, the CBTE Morland Half Marathon is a 13.65-mile trail race organised by The Charm Bracelet Marathon. Starting and finishing at Morland Village Hall in the Eden Valley near Penrith, runners navigate a partially self-guided course across mixed off-road terrain including rivers, becks, woodlands and pastures. The route incorporates sections of the Morland Marathon and climbs approximately 1,330 feet over its length.
Designed as an accessible entry point to longer Charm Bracelet events, the course is waymarked to support navigation. Finishers receive a medal, T-shirt and refreshments at checkpoints, with age-category awards also available.
