About Centurion South Downs Way 10K
Rolling trails through Hampshire's South Downs National Park form the setting for this 5 km trail race, held on 11 June 2027 around the private Matterley Estate in the Itchen Valley. Runners can expect approximately 140 metres of elevation gain across terrain that is fully marked with pink ribbons and arrows, with marshals stationed at key junctions.
The event runs alongside Centurion's longer South Downs Way races and uses the same start and finish at Matterley Bowl. Medical support is available during the race, though there are no aid stations. A one-hour cut-off applies, and the event is limited to 200 starters with a minimum age of 12 on race day.
