About Centurion Wendover Woods 50
Wendover Woods in Buckinghamshire hosts this 50 mile trail ultramarathon on 14 November 2026, organised by Centurion Running. The race takes runners around five 10 mile loops entirely within the woodland, with approximately 10,000 feet of climbing across terrain that is 99% trail and 1% road. The event is capped at 250 starters, each with a 15 hour cut-off to complete the distance.
Nine aid stations are positioned throughout the course, offering food and drink including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options alongside hot drinks. The start and finish are based at Trig Point Field, Aston Hill. Runners must carry mandatory kit including a mobile phone, survival blanket, whistle, waterproof jacket, warm hat, gloves and lights for the later loops. Drop bags are available between loops but must not exceed 50 litres in capacity.
