About Chase The Train
Chase the Train follows the Bure Valley Railway as it winds through Norfolk countryside from Aylsham to Wroxham. This 8.9 mile trail race starts at Aylsham Station and traces footpaths alongside the railway line to the finish at Wroxham Station. The predominantly flat route includes some uneven ground, roots and low branches to navigate along the way.
Organised by North Norfolk Beach Runners, the event is capped at 220 runners and features water stations at miles three and six. A special train service operates the return journey from Wroxham back to Aylsham, offering runners an alternative to retracing their steps after crossing the finish line.
