About Cider & Piggy Plod
Runners can choose their own challenge level at this trail running weekend in Dorset. The programme spans from a 5 km run through to a full 24 hour solo endurance event, with a 12 hour night challenge and daytime 12 hour option (available for individuals or teams of up to five) also on offer. A 10 km Apple Plod and two informal Sunday runs complete the schedule.
Taking place on 23 July 2027 at Myncen Farm near Blandford Forum, the undulating trail course winds through fields, grass and dusty tracks across private farmland. The 24 hour and 12 hour night challenges are limited to 40 entrants, and runners must be aged 18 or over. Camping is available over the weekend, and finishers receive a medal and event goodies regardless of how many laps they complete within their chosen time limit.
