About Colworth Hare and Tortoise Run
A 26-mile trail run around the Colworth Estate in north Bedfordshire, this race takes place over five laps on 29 November 2026. The route combines gently undulating trail and unclassified road with sections of woodland paths featuring uneven surfaces and exposed roots. Some narrower stretches mean entry numbers are kept limited.
The event welcomes both solo runners and teams of five, with checkpoints positioned each lap offering water, flat cola and snacks. Additional drinks are available at the half-lap mark, and participants can leave personal food or drink at the checkpoints. Facilities include toilets and car parking at the start near Sharnbrook Deli Cafe. Solo runners must be 18 or over; team members must be at least 15 years old. Dogs are permitted under ARC guidance if accompanied by responsible owners.
