About Corvedale Cake Walk
The Corvedale Cake Walk takes place on 24 April 2027 as a Marches LDWA challenge walk based at Holy Trinity in Munslow, near Much Wenlock. Participants can choose between 10 mile and 22 mile trail routes, both climbing to Abdon Burf, Shropshire's highest point, before returning via the Jack Mytton Way. The longer option also incorporates Wenlock Edge with views towards Mid Wales.
Staffed checkpoints are positioned along both routes with refreshment points, including hot drinks at the start and hot dogs at the finish. Walkers should bring an OS Explorer 217 map, suitable clothing for variable weather, and a personal mug. Dogs are not permitted due to livestock on the route, and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Parking near the church is clearly signed.
