About Cotswold Way Century
The Cotswold Way National Trail stretches across the Cotswolds from Chipping Campden to Bath, and the Cotswold Way Century invites runners to tackle this 102-mile route in a single push across 19-20 September 2026. Participants have 32 hours to complete the course, which follows public rights of way and incorporates a varied mix of terrain: hard stone tracks, grassy paths, short road sections and ploughed fields, with consistent climbing and descent throughout.
Route markings use the established Cotswold Way acorn symbols, supplemented where needed near checkpoints or route junctions. The event includes food stations and medical support, with intermediate cut-offs set along the way. Finishers receive a buckle, with an additional accolade for those finishing within 24 hours. Participants must be at least 21 on the event date.
