About Cottam Canter
A 10 km trail run through Preston takes runners from the UCLAN Sports Arena in Cottam along the Lancaster canal towpath, past canal locks and the Millennium Ribble Link, before looping around Haslam Park and its lake. The route is fully marked and returns to the sports arena for the finish.
Taking place on Saturday 8 May 2027, the event provides refreshments on the day and includes a bespoke medal and post-run goodies. Medical cover is arranged, and the race holds a Trail Running Association permit. The UCLAN Sports Arena has changing facilities, showers, toilets, a cafe and free parking available.
