About Cousin Jack
Cousin Jack presents two trail races across challenging Cornish coastal terrain, taking place on 6 March 2027. The Classic Jack route covers 18 miles point-to-point from St Just miners chapel to St Ives, while Ultra Jack is a 35-mile circuit starting from The Blockhouse in St Ives that travels out to Cape Cornwall before returning. Both races feature the mixed surfaces typical of coastal trail running: muddy fields, rocky headlands, steep paths and boggy sections, with a safety cut-off in place at Zennor Head.
A safety briefing takes place on race day alongside on-site registration. Parking is available at St Ives Leisure Centre with organised transport to the Classic Jack start point. Participants should consult the event website for full route details, kit requirements and risk assessments.
