About Cracken Edge
Cracken Edge takes place on Wednesday 5 August 2026 as a fell race in the High Peak area of Derbyshire. The 11.3 km course climbs 442 metres through the Peak District landscape, offering a challenging trail experience for runners aged 18 and over.
The race serves as a counter in the Hayfield Championship and supports the Kinder Mountain Rescue Team. Registration takes place at Kinder MRT HQ in Hayfield, with the start on Ridge Top Lane near Meadows Farm. The event is FRA-permitted with UK Athletics insurance.
