About CraggRunner Sprint 5k
The CraggRunner Sprint 5k takes place on 24 October 2026 at the Stephen Burke cycle circuit in the Borough of Pendle, Lancashire. This 5 km road race runs on a flat course, with races starting from 1pm and scheduled at half-hourly intervals throughout the afternoon. Runners are allocated to one of six race waves based on their predicted finishing time, with slower participants racing first and faster runners towards the end of the schedule around 3:45pm.
The event is part of a four-race series that runners can enter individually or complete in full. Chip timing is used, with results linked to Run Britain and Power of 10. Portable toilets and water will be available at the venue. Parking is available on local roads surrounding the sports hub.
