About Crimond Run Fest
Crimond Run Fest takes place in the Aberdeenshire village of Crimond on 6 September 2026, organised by Peterhead Athletics Club in memory of local runner Kevin Brooks. The event centres on two road races: a 6 km course starting at noon and a 12 km race beginning an hour later, both departing from behind Crimond Church and finishing near the village hall. Children's fun runs are also part of the programme.
The routes traverse the Buchan countryside with views towards the Loch of Strathbeg Nature Reserve. Proceeds from the event support the Crimond Village Christmas Light Project, making it a community-focused day that welcomes runners of all abilities.
