About Croome by Night
Taking place on 10 August 2026, Croome by Night is an informal, untimed trail run organised by Black Pear Joggers at Croome Park near Worcester. Runners can choose from three distances: 3 miles, 5 miles or 6 miles, all following the same undulating off-road course that loops around the park's lake and crosses the bridge to the Island Pavilion. The terrain is multi-surface and traffic-free, so trail shoes are recommended.
This is a relaxed group run with a pre-run safety briefing, and afterwards all participants receive cake, tea and coffee. The route avoids wooded areas and excludes the steep uphill section of the original Croome Capability Canter. Entry is available on the day by card or cash only. Profits from the event go to the National Trust to help maintain Croome Park.
