About Dalby Dash 10K
The Dalby Dash 10K takes runners on a trail route through Low Dalby in North Yorkshire, beginning with a steady climb on tarmac through House Dale. The first man and woman to the top compete for the traditional King and Queen of the Hill prizes. The course then follows gravel trails along the rigg before a long descent towards Dalby Beck and a final stretch back to the finish at the Timbers bar cafe.
Held on Remembrance Sunday, the event starts at 11:02 following a two-minute silence. It is organised by volunteers in association with Pickering Running Club and supports local charities and service personnel. All finishers receive a commemorative memento, with electronic timing throughout.
