About Dark Valley, Night Trails
Dark Valley Night Trails takes runners through Moors Valley Country Park near Ringwood, where a 10 km loop of tree-lined forest paths forms the backbone of this night-time trail event. The route is marked with fluorescent directional markers and runners navigate by headtorch or chest torch under the night sky.
Participants can lap the course to reach distances of 10 km, 20 km or 30 km on 21 November 2026. The 10 km option has no time limit, while the 20 km course carries a three-hour cut-off and the 30 km a four-and-a-half-hour cut-off. An aid station sits on the course, and a bag drop tent is available at the start. Runners are encouraged to bring winter clothing and a backup torch, and downloading the route's GPX file is recommended for navigation backup.
