About Dart Challenge
The Dart Challenge takes place on 20 November 2026 in South Hams, Devon, as a six-hour trail running event open to all abilities. Participants choose their own challenge within the timeframe: complete one 5K lap, aim for a marathon distance across eight laps plus a short out-and-back, or simply cover as many circuits as possible between 9am and 3pm. The mixed-terrain course includes gravel, grass, tarmac and occasional mud, with one hill per lap and reasonably flat sections throughout. Trail shoes are recommended.
Registration and refreshments are based at the Green Table Cafe, which will be serving hot drinks and food throughout the day. The event also welcomes runners with dogs via a canicross option. A portion of proceeds supports a new playground at Dartington Hall.
