About Dave Clarke 5K
The Dave Clarke 5K takes runners around a multi-terrain course in Stoke-on-Trent on 13 August 2026. The 5 km route incorporates paths, pavement, canal towpath and grass fields, offering varied ground underfoot across the trail event.
Trentham Running Club organises the race with facilities at Race HQ including a car park, bar, toilets, showers and changing rooms. Prizes are awarded to first, second and third place finishers in male and female categories, plus age group and team categories. All finishers receive a digital certificate, and the event uses chip timing. The club has made sustainability central to the event, from optional medals to encourage runners to opt out of medals if preferred, through to the use of paper cups and refillable water stations rather than disposable bottles. Carbon offsetting is also planned for the event.
