About Dave Waywell Wesham 10k
Established in 1986, the Wesham 10k has become one of the North West's most sought-after autumn races, selling out weeks in advance year after year. Held on Saturday 28 November 2026 at 10am, this UK Athletics licensed event takes runners on a slightly undulating route through the lanes of Salwick and Lea Town. The certified measured course attracts a large and competitive field, with prizes available across multiple categories including junior, masters and team competitions.
The race welcomes entrants aged 15 and above and caters to both club-affiliated and unattached runners. Participants receive a Wesham 10k tech T-shirt as part of their entry.
