About Deveron Harriers Festival Of Running
The Deveron Harriers Festival of Running takes place across Banff and the surrounding area on 9 August 2026, offering distances to suit different runners. The half marathon, 10 km and 5 km races all follow trail routes through the Aberdeenshire countryside, with the longer distance starting in Markethill Turriff and taking in riverside paths before crossing the Bridge of Alvah and finishing at Duff House in Banff. A junior 1 km fun run is also part of the festival.
All races converge on the rugby club pitches in Banff, where runners can enjoy food, refreshments and entertainment as part of a wider family fun day.
