About Devon Coast to Coast Ultra Marathon
Climb South West organises the Devon Coast to Coast, a trail running event that takes runners across some of the south west's most demanding terrain. Taking place on 17 April 2027, the 26.2-mile marathon distance follows the Two Moors Way from Wembury on the south Devon coast towards Lynmouth on the north, traversing moorland tracks, coastal paths and estate trails with significant climbing throughout.
The route crosses Dartmoor and Exmoor, combining exposed upland terrain with long remote sections that call for navigation skills. This is an endurance challenge across rugged national park landscape rather than a supported road race, suited to runners prepared for the demands of multi-terrain trail running.
