About Devon Coast to Coast Ultra & Marathon
North Devon's dramatic coastline provides the backdrop for this multi-distance trail event crossing the heart of Devon. On 17 April 2027, runners can choose between a marathon (26.2 miles), 75km, 100km, or the full 112-mile non-stop ultra from Wembury to Lynmouth, with an additional marathon stage on 18 April starting from West Anstey. The routes traverse two national parks and follow waymarked trails including the Erme-Plym Trail and the Two Moors Way, with some sections crossing into Somerset before returning to Devon.
The terrain includes moorland, fields and open sections requiring careful navigation, particularly after dark on the longer distances. Navigation support is available via Outdoor Active app and GPX files, with Harvey maps covering the Two Moors Way. Checkpoints stocked with hot food and drinks service each distance. Transport to the start is available for all distances. All entries include mandatory tracker hire, and support teams are permitted on the non-stop event.
