Phoenix Running Devon's Pace Makers event forms part of the Sweet Tooth series, taking place on Sunday 6 December 2026 at Exeter Quayside. Runners tackle an out-and-back lap route along the Exeter Canal path, passing the Double Locks, with each lap measuring 5.3 km. The terrain combines hard trail and concrete footpath on a flat route.
Participants can choose their own distance by completing as many or as few laps as desired, with standard options ranging from 5 km through to marathon distance and beyond, all within a seven-hour time limit. The 5 km, half marathon and full marathon distances are formally offered. The route surface is predominantly flat with no significant elevation gain. UK Athletics age-related distance restrictions apply to entries.
