About Die Hard Christmas Marathon
Running on Christmas Eve, the Die Hard Christmas races take place at Longhedge in Milton Keynes on 24 December 2026. Participants can choose between a half marathon of 13.1 miles or a full marathon of 26.2 miles, both on trail terrain. The courses run clockwise around Caldecotte Lake, with water and toilet facilities provided at regular intervals.
The event is organised in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules and will have a starter, timekeeper and race referee on hand. Both distances carry strict time limits: four hours for the half marathon and seven hours for the marathon. Runners must be at least 18 years old and declare themselves medically fit to take part.
