About Dioni Abersoch Coast Trail
Sitting on the golden sands of Abersoch beach on the Llyn Peninsula, the Dioni Abersoch Coast Trail offers three trail running options across September 18-19, 2026. Runners can choose between 2 km, 10 km or 20 km distances, each starting and finishing on the beach before heading out along the coastal path.
The shorter routes take in views past Tudwal's Islands and Porth Ceiriad, whilst the 20 km extends further to Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth) before looping back. The courses mix coastal paths, trails and beach running, with a short stretch of road included. The event forms part of the Abersoch Triple Crown series, a race trilogy in the same location.
