About DirtRun Wyre Wizard Trail Half Marathon
Two trail running options take place through Wyre Forest near Kidderminster on 18 October 2026. The headline event is a 13.1-mile half marathon over woodland terrain with varied contours and ancient trees, whilst a shorter 7.6-mile route offers an alternative challenge. Both races follow fully signed and marshalled courses with water stations positioned on route.
This is the tenth edition of the Wyre Wizard trail races, organised by Dirtrun and based at the Callow Hill Visitor Centre. The half marathon is open to runners aged 17 and over, with the shorter route available to those 14 and above. Medical cover and a tail runner support competitors, and entrants must complete within four hours.
