About Dirty Day
Dirty Day takes runners across trail terrain with a special-edition obstacle course at Forest Facility near Stamford on 15 August 2026. The main adult format covers roughly 4 miles featuring around 60 obstacles, with options to complete multiple laps. The course reinstates several classics including a big water jump, lake swim with safety paddlers, underground tunnels and wooden-structure features. An un-timed format uses waved starts, with a separate family wave.
Families with children aged 6 and up can take part in a shortened 1.5 mile lap that excludes the lake swim, big water jump and underground tunnels, with more accessible obstacle options throughout. Teens aged 13 to 17 are offered the full 4 mile course. Beyond the obstacle loop, Forest Facility's activities including zip wires, axe throwing, archery and laser tag operate alongside the race. Professional medical cover is on-site, with paramedics, doctors and a blue-light ambulance present.
