About Dukeries 30 / 40
Two trail routes of 31 and 41 miles wind through Nottinghamshire woodland on 8 May 2027. Based at Little John Lakes near Newark, the Dukeries 30/40 follows a single circular loop mostly on forest trails and footpaths, passing lodges, Creswell Crags, the Welbeck Estate, Clumber Park and the Thoresby Estate. Runners on the longer course also pass the Major Oak.
The route is fully marked and marshalled with refreshments provided at intervals and the finish. All finishers receive a medal. A 10.5 hour cut off applies to complete the course. The event accepts runners and canicross participants (limited to 20), with a minimum age of 20 on the event date. Pacers and drop bags are not permitted.
