About Dumble Bimble
The Dumble Bimble takes its name from Alan, a founding member of the organising club, who would tell his wife Jan he was "just going out for a bimble" whenever he headed out for a run. The event has since become affectionately known by various playful variations amongst runners, a tribute to Alan's sense of humour.
This 5 km road race takes place in Dorset on 1 September 2026, offering a straightforward running experience in a community-minded setting.
