About Dun Holm Challenge - Day 2
On 28 May 2027, The Dun Holm Challenge: Day 2 takes place as a 7-hour time challenge at Durham Amateur Rowing Club. Runners set their own distance, choosing from 3 km up to 50 km on a trail route with riverside views. The course consists of laps of a scenic trail alongside the River Wear with views of Durham Cathedral throughout.
Distances available include 3 km, 5 km, 10 km, 13.1 miles, 26.2 miles, 32 miles and 50 km. Walkers are welcome alongside runners of all abilities. Aid tables offering drinks and snacks are positioned at the start and finish of each lap. Every finisher receives a medal and goody bag, with the option to earn distance pins for half-marathon, marathon, 50 km and ultra achievements.
