About Dursley Dozen
Taking place on 21 February 2027, the Dursley Dozen is a 12-mile trail race near Stroud in Gloucestershire. The course traverses demanding mixed terrain across woodland, open country and local footpaths, incorporating over 2000 feet of climbing. Runners encounter muddy and stony sections, roots and other natural obstacles as the route ascends Hill Road and Stinchcombe Hill Golf Course, passes Leaf and Ground pond, crosses exposed paths near Drakestone Point, and descends through Axe Lane to Waterley Bottom before circling Breakheart Quarry.
The race finishes down Dursley's pedestrianised Parsonage Street outside the Market Hall, where finishers receive a technical T-shirt. Spectators gather along the final approach to watch runners come in. This edition continues a long tradition of the event, with 2026 marking the 36th running.
