About Dusk Till Dawn The Winter Edition
Bridgend's miniature railway provides the base for this 12-hour winter challenge on 14 November 2026. Runners tackle approximately 10-mile trail loops repeatedly throughout the day and night, with the goal of completing as many circuits as possible within the time limit. The terrain mixes minimal road sections with hillier stretches, technical downhill forestry trails and potentially muddy ground, marked with flags and glow sticks to guide the way.
Participants return to base camp between loops for route instructions, with their progress recorded on a stamped card. The winner is determined by total mileage and number of laps completed. The event is organised by Mad Running Junkies and is open to runners aged 18 and over. On-site support includes parking, facilities, refreshments, medical cover and volunteers throughout.
