About East Coast Classic 10K
The East Coast Classic 10K takes runners along Mablethorpe's seafront on 13 September 2026. This 10km road race is mostly flat, though there are a couple of sharper climbs around the 1km and 9km marks. Sections of the route run directly alongside the beach, so sand may drift onto the promenade—extra care is needed underfoot, particularly after rain.
The course is traffic-free but open to the public, so runners should be prepared to share the route with pedestrians and cyclists. A narrow stretch between 3km and 4km (and again between 6km and 7km on the return) requires runners to keep left. The route is not suitable for wheelchairs due to the inclines involved.
