About East Grinstead 10K
A 10 km trail race through East Grinstead, this event combines bridleways and scenic paths for the opening 7 km before finishing with 3 km on residential roads. Taking place on Sunday 4 October 2026 at Imberhorne School, the course is largely flat and fully marshalled, with a water station positioned at the 5 km mark.
The race is run in memory of a former local sportsman and raises funds for the East Grinstead Lions' prostate cancer screening initiative and the charity Being Neighbourly. Organised by local running club volunteers in partnership with neighbouring clubs, the event typically attracts 300 to 400 runners of varying abilities, from those tackling their first 10 km to experienced club athletes. The minimum age is 15 on race day. The event is licensed by UK Athletics.
