A fast, flat 5K on closed rural lanes around Capenhurst, this race has established itself as one of the quickest in the north west, with recent personal bests of 13:55 and 16:37 demonstrating its appeal to runners chasing quick times. The one-lap course takes place on 11 August 2027, starting at 7:15pm from Capenhurst Sports Ground.
Run in memory of Ellesmere Port RC athlete Neil Lavery, the race offers prizes for top finishers across open and veteran categories.
