About Exe to Axe
The Exe to Axe follows the South West Coast Path through East Devon on 4 April 2027, offering runners a choice of distances across demanding trail terrain. Sidmouth Running Club's established event features the full 22 mile route from Exmouth to Seaton, plus an 11 mile option covering the second half of the course, with relay teams of two, three or four also welcome.
The point to point course winds along the Jurassic Coast past dramatic cliffs, coastal villages and beaches to finish on Seaton promenade. Known for its challenging trails and coastal views, the event combines technical running with some of Devon's most striking scenery. Chip timing, aid stations, baggage transport and experienced marshals support runners throughout the day.
