About Exmoor North Coast
A pair of substantial trail challenges across the North Devon and Exmoor coastlines, the Exmoor North Coast event spans two days in November 2026, based from Reubendale. Runners choose between a 110 mile route with nearly 6,000 metres of elevation gain, a 110 kilometre course, or a 58 kilometre option starting from halfway. Each route follows sections of the South West Coast Path, passing landmarks including Hartland Point, Clovelly, Baggy Point, Woolacombe and Bull Point lighthouse before finishing in or around Ilfracombe and Minehead. Entrants navigate using GPS tracking rather than marked courses.
The 110 mile distance requires proof of a previous 50 km finish and carries 6 ITRA points and a 100 mile UTMB index. The 110 kilometre route includes Braunton Burrows and Saunton Sands, earning 4 ITRA points and a 100 km UTMB index. The 58 kilometre course traverses Exmoor National Park's length, passing Culbone Hill and Great Hangman, and offers 3 ITRA points and a 50 km UTMB index. Transport to the start is provided for several distances from nearby towns.
