About Explorr
Explorr brings together runners and outdoor enthusiasts for Scotland's three-day endurance festival in Banchory, on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. Taking place on 29 August 2026, the event combines trail running with gravel racing, athlete talks, live music, films and food across a Festival Village based at King George V Park.
The centrepiece is a four-stage gravel race challenge through Royal Deeside, with multiple distance options available to suit different abilities and interests. Beyond the racing, the festival creates space for the broader outdoor community to gather, learn and celebrate endurance sport in one of Scotland's most compelling landscapes.
