About Falmouth Mob Match
A measured 5-mile road race through Falmouth's coastal landscape, the Mob Match takes runners from Pendennis Headland along the seafront past Gyllyngvase and Swanpool beaches, finishing outside the Falmouth Hotel. Falmouth Running Club's 38th annual event on 29 November is structured as a team competition, with points awarded to each finisher counting towards their team's overall placing.
The race welcomes teams from clubs affiliated to the Cornwall Road Running and Racing Group, as well as gym groups, sports clubs and informal groups of running friends. Runners compete in divisions with separate male, female and mixed team categories, and trophies are presented to winning teams following the race.
